In the Special Sparring DLC, the "Creatures" team's first challenger is called "Myke", playing as Kage Maru. This "Myke" has the same play style as professional Australian Virtua Fighter player Mike "Myke" Abdow. Kage is also a nod to Myke's usual character in Virtua Fighter Tournaments.
