Completing Dark mode in the GBA version of the game will display a message saying 'Thank you for playing! From Team Fight Engine III Art & Code United". This is a small easter egg created by Kris Durrschmidt and Taron Millet, who worked on the title before going on to form Crazy Viking Studios.

In the GBA version of the game, there is a secret door in the training area which can only be opened by doing a combo chain of 23 or more hits. Inside, there are statues of past dragon heroes, as well as a large amount of crystals.

In the Game Boy Advance version of the game, Cynder is mentioned to be Spyro's sibling. However, Sierra have confirmed this was a mistake.
