• Strider Ouga outfit is based on Ibuki from Street Fighter
• Strider Rouga outfit is based on Hayato Kanzaki from Star Gladiator
• Strider Shouyo outfit is based on Guy from Final Fight
• Strider Kuga outfit is based on Kenji from Red Earth
• Strider Hoen outfit is based on Elf from Dungeons & Dragons
• Strider Hien outfit is based on Strider Hien from Strider 2
• Strider Shinden outfit is based on Strider from Strider (1989)

When you unlock your first Novo gate, you'll get a trophy/achievement called "Master of Unlocking". This is a reference to Barry Burton's infamous quote to Jill Valentine, when he gave her a lockpick in Resident Evil (1996), a Capcom related game.
