Spore 2D Creature Creator was a flash game made to help advertise for another Spore spin-off game made for the Wii, Spore Hero. It was an adaptation of the Creature Creator, but in a 2D sideview, and players could import 3D models of their own creations from other Creature Creator versions and related Spore titles. This game is lost to time and currently unplayable.
