Notably, the US version of the game uses "Dr. Robotnik" after the "Dr. Eggman" name had been established worldwide in Sonic Adventure, and - unlike games such as Sonic the Hedgehog 2, which use the reverse naming scheme - Tails is called Miles in the US and Tails in Japan.
