Developers who had worked on the game were caught posting positive reviews for the game on the online shopping site Amazon. Harmonix posted a statement saying that this was against their internal policy, and despite some of the reviews possibly being sincere, that they were to be edited to state that they were written by Harmonix employees or to be removed entirely.

The reviews were discovered by a user on reddit who found that the reviewers shared the same names of developers at Harmonix.
