The game was heavily criticized for its graphic depiction of statutory rape, and it was soon banned in both Australia and Argentina. It also caught the attention of the British MP, Keith Vaz, who vowed to bring the issue to Parliament to prevent the game from being sold online. Amazon subsequently removed any listings of the game from its website. Several activist groups wrote to both Illusion and Japan's Prime Minister, Taro Aso, arguing that the game violated Japan's obligations under the 1985 Convention of the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women. Illusion later removed any references of the game on their website as well as ceasing distribution of the game due to the controversy impacting the game's publisher.
