Between rounds, Piston Hondo can sometimes be seen reading a manga. In the original reease, the texture used for the pages consisted of scanned panels from the 1991 manga Sailor Moon, albeit rearranged and flipped upside down to not look completely identical to the source material. Due to the legal issues that this Easter egg caused, later revisions replaced the texture with more generic and lower-resolution illustrations.
