The game runs on an 8-Megabit cartridge, making it one of the largest Famicom games released for the console. Due to being released towards the launch of the Super Famicom, resulting in poor sales, only 10,000 copies of the game being made, and Hal Labs' overspending on advertisements for the game, this was the company's last release as an independent studio before being bought out of bankruptcy by Nintendo.
