At the very end of the game was a teaser hinting the next installment for Leisure Suit Larry, entitled "Leisure Suit Larry Explores Uranus". The actual title for the game was changed to "Leisure Suit Larry: Lust In Space".

According to Al Lowe, the game's story would have follow Larry after he was captured by "amazonian warrior women" from a distant planet. They would have brainwashed him into believing that he was in a disco paradise, and then use Larry to father a race of alien-human hybrids to take over the earth. He would have then realized what was happening, only to then have to then save the earth.
