The main antagonist of the "Toyhunter" level, Zodick the Hellhog, is an obvious parody of Sega's mascot Sonic The Hedgehog. Not only are their names and designs similar, but Zodick attacks by rolling around the arena similar to Sonic's Spin Dash move, references Sonic's iconic finger wave pose, and drops rings whenever he is damaged. On top of that, defeating him reveals that he's actually a robot, with one of the scientists controlling him being voiced by then-Sonic voice actor Ryan Drummond.
