In addition to resembling Combs in appearance and name, the character's role as a prisoner is a reference to Combs' highly publicized legal issues and sexual assault allegations starting in late 2023. These events culminated one week after the game's release in September 2024 with his arrest and indictment on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
