Based on the popular manga from the 80s, Tenchi wo Kurau, which is set in 3rd century China; the game was originally titled Tenchi wo Kurau II.Much like the first game of the series, Destiny of an Emperor, when the game was localized in the U.S. the box art depicted a 16th century Japanese samurai warrior on it, instead of a 3rd century Chinese warrior.
