The runes that appear in the magic circle every time Serenity uses the Demons' Score read "Tu Fui, Ego Eris." It is Latin for "I was you; you will be me." The runes under her read "Mors Tua, Vita Mea" which is also Latin for "Your loss is my gain."

During the second phase of the Dantalion stage, the boss will use a potion and cast spells that reference white magic from Final Fantasy.Spoiler: Dantalion will also display the message "•The laws of the universe mean nothing!" which is a reference to the final boss of Final Fantasy V, Neo Exdeath.
