In the Game Boy Advance version of the game, there is a rare game breaking bug that causes the player to get stuck in the wall in the hub world. It is unknown why this happens and there is no known way to escape without the use of cheats or restarting the game entirely.

In the Game Boy Advance version of Crash Nitro Kart, pressing L and R as the game starts up will launch a secret minigame titled "Crash Party USA". This minigame would later be carried over to both Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage and Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy with the same unlock method on the main menu. However, in Crash Bandicoot Purple, Crash's sprites are switched out for Spyro and the minigame is now called "Spyro Party USA".
