Leaving Crash to stand idle for a period of time will cause him to pull out a Game Boy Advance and start playing it.

In the Game Boy Advance version of Crash Nitro Kart, pressing L and R as the game starts up will launch a secret minigame titled "Crash Party USA". This minigame would later be carried over to both Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage and Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy with the same unlock method on the main menu. However, in Crash Bandicoot Purple, Crash's sprites are switched out for Spyro and the minigame is now called "Spyro Party USA".
