In August 2013, artist DJ Mass MAD Izm* announced on Twitter a song known as "灼熱 Lost Summer Dayz", a sequel to the One More Extra Stage song "灼熱 Beach Side Bunny" from Beatmania IIDX 18 Resort Anthem. However, the tweet teasing this song was later removed. "灼熱 Lost Summer Dayz" wouldn't appear in the series until Beatmania IIDX 32 Pinky Crush, over 11 years after the initial announcement. DJ Mass MAD Izm* later acknowledged this delay, further adding that if there were to be a 4th song in the 灼熱 series, it would be a collaboration with DJ YOHSITAKA.
