Alongside all of the cinema and television references that fans of the cartoon would expect, Animaniacs for Genesis also contains a small handful of references to other Konami games. Vic Viper from Gradius appears as a platform in the space level, and the Dracula boss uses Dracula's flame attack from the Castlevania series.
