Attachment In the system's Photo Album set-up page, one of the drawn characters closely resembles the character 'GO' from the Japanese gay pornographic movie A Midsummer Night’s Lewd Dream. The film's character had become part of a popular meme in Japan which had spawned as a result of the film's over-the-top acting.

Attachment Gentleman Jim Stacey, leader of the Thieves Guild in Morrowind, is likely a reference to the comic "Gentleman Jim" by children's author Raymond Briggs. In it, Jim becomes a highwayman to steal from the rich and give to the poor. Impa's armor was stylized with a Japanese motif. Early concept art shows that Impa's was conceptualized as a samurai, having the Naginata as the main weapon, as well as design elements from her Skyward Sword incarnation.

Many of Impa's moves and combos are likely inspired by the bodyguard/protector characters from Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, and Warriors Orochi. Her victory sequence with the Blade may also have been inspired by a move done by a character in Dynasty Warriors 8.

Guile has a special introduction against Rugal Bernstein, where he cuts a statue of himself in half with a Sonic Boom before Rugal destroys the base with a Reppuuken. This is in reference to The King of Fighters '94, where Rugal has a statue of Guile amongst his various trophies. Given how he makes his "statues", this implies Rugal had fought Guile in their universe and used his body to create his statue.

Omega Red's ending shows him having killed Ryu, where a deeply distressed Ken asks him "How many lives have you ended?". Omega Red merely responds "Do you count the number of breaths you've taken?".

This is a reference to a similar scene in the manga series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, when Willian Anthonio Zeppeli asks a similar question towards the vampire Dio Brando. William asks Dio Brando "How many lives have you sucken away to heal those wounds?", only to be answered cynically with "How many breads have you eaten in your life?".

The Persona games have many references to and take inspiration from the long-running manga series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

One example is in the third game, where the protagonists summon their personas using guns to shoot themselves. This is similar to the first scene of Stardust Crusaders, when Jotaro Kujo grabs a gun and shoots at his head in order to summon his Stand.

Another example is in Persona 4, when the main antagonist accidentally reveals himself by saying something he shouldn't have known. A similar situation happens in the fourth part of the manga, Diamond is Unbreakable.

Attachment According to director Hidetaka Miyazaki, the Crystal Ring Shield's "attack" is supposed to be based off of Ultraman's Ultra Slash attack from the Japanese television show of the same name. However, he has stated he was not entirely happy with how it turned out, as the artist he was explaining it to did not quite understand what he meant when trying to explain how it would look "like Ultraman".

Two tracks that play in the minigames that weren't in the original SNES game are actually remixes of tracks from Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards:

• The "Snack Tracks" theme is a sped up version of the music that plays during the factory levels in Shiver Star.
• The "Rest Room" theme in the "Helper to Hero" minigame is a slower and calmer remix of Ripple Star's level select theme.

Attachment At the beginning of the first episode, Mr. Jefferson utters "Bueller" when no one volunteers to answer one of his questions.
