Secret of Evermore
1
The soundtrack was composed by Jeremy Soule. While in Highschool, he played a lot of games and felt that soundtracks "lacked drama and intensity." He composed a demo to showcase what he believed music should sound like in games, and showed it to Square. They hired him as an in-house composer, and set him to work on Secret of Evermore as his first game.

The soundtrack was released on CD with 29 tracks, 8 of which were arranged versions of the in-game soundtrack. It was released as a pre-order bonus for the game.

Secret of Evermore

Many people believed that due to Square releasing Secret of Evermore, they never localized Seiken Densetsu 3 to the US. However, Secret of Evermore was actually developed by a new team hired in the US, many of whom had never worked in the industry before, and had nothing to do with the development of Seiken Densetsu 3.

Tidus is never actually directly referred to by his name in audible dialogue. People will refer to him with impersonal pronouns. This is due to the player being able to name Tidus at the start of the game, and this being Square Enix's first voiced Final Fantasy game, they weren't sure how to handle a variable name. Tidus' name pronunciation has been debated, but was confirmed to be pronounced "Tee-Dus" by James Arnold Taylor, the voice actor for Tidus.

Attachment There's a hidden test level called "Citadel" found in the game's coding. It was designed during the early stages of multiplayer and had it been functional in the finished game, Oddjob and Mayday wouldn't have been available to play.

The level can only be accessed through the use of a cheat device. As an obvious test level, however, there are numerous glitches which prevent it from being properly playable.
No More Heroes
1
At the end of No More Heroes, Jeane reveals her backstory is allegedly "too terrible" and will "jack up the age rating of the game". She also makes a reference that "you don't want this game to become No More Heroes Forever, a joke about Duke Nukem Forever's long development period. She then proceeds to tell her backstory at a sped up speed so that it is absolutely impossible to understand what she says. Slowing this down reveals a very horrible story:

"You are my half brother. You know that manga called Miyuki? The Japanese one. Well, it's like that. Your father abandoned my mother to run off with your mother. It broke her heart beyond repair. She killed herself. Knowing I had nowhere to go, he took advantage of me. Ever since I can remember, he molested me. We lived in this rotten apartment... And I was his slave. Every day I cursed his soul. I swore that I would kill him one day. But cursing didn't change anything. That's when I decided to become a killer. With no money to pay for training, I paid with my body. But to you, I bet that son of a bitch looked like a hard-working family man. That was all an act. He didn't give two shits about cleaning up my life so I decided to clean it up myself. That's why I do what I do. And I got what I wanted. Killing him in front of your very eyes. That's my story."
Spec Ops: The Line

The development team wanted to give the player the feeling that the game "was physically opposing you, not simply as a simulation, but also as the game itself." This includes things like the loading screens eventually ending up giving you irritating messages about how you've messed up and everything you've done wrong instead of gameplay tips.

Yager, the developers of the Single Player of the game, have been outwardly spoken about their displeasure about the inclusion of multiplayer in the game, developed by an external team, being forced into the game by 2K Games.

Cory Davis, lead designer of the game, has gone so far as to say that it "sheds a negative light on all of the meaningful things we did in the single-player experience." He has also referred to the multiplayer as "another game rammed onto the disk like a cancerous growth", that is was "tacked on", "low-quality", "bullshit", "should not exist", and "tossed out the creative pillars of the product".

Blizzard decided at the last minute to include licensed classic rock songs in the soundtrack, a rarity when the game was released. Of course at the time, these had to be remade in a chiptune style.
The track listings for the game are:
Black Sabbath - Paranoid
Henry Mancini - The Peter Gunn Theme
Deep Purple - Highway Star
Golden Earring - Radar Love (Genesis version only)
Steppenwolf - Born to Be Wild

Attachment The game features a sound test mode, though this went largely unnoticed until well over a decade after the game came out due to the obscure way in which it is accessed. You must first complete the game, watch the ending cinematic, and wait for the game to reset itself. You must then open a saved game and hold start and down while Simone finishes talking and the screen fades out. The only way to exit this mode is to reset your console.

The North American version of the game displays an incorrect border on the dialogue box, but it still functions correctly.
