Attachment In the shop called "In the Closet" is a a t-shirt with a woman on it. In the US version of the game, the woman is topless, whereas in the European version she is wearing a bra/bikini top.
The Revenge of the Smurfs

Attachment Revenge of the Smurfs is an enhanced port of The Smurfs, and the majority of the levels are directly copied from the 16-bit version of the game. However, the 'Mine' and 'Descent' levels are based on those present in the 8-bit versions of The Smurfs.
Collection: Madden NFL

The songs used in the Madden series are generally heavily censored, with notable examples being the word "gangster" in Pitbull's "Fuego" being censored in Madden NFL 08, and the words "God" and "crime" being censored in Kevin Rudolf's song "Let it Rock" in Madden NFL 11.

Despite this, EA Sports did not censor the word "erection" in B.O.B's song "Created Monster", which was featured in Madden NFL 10.
Karateka

The Atari 7200 port contains text hidden in the game's coding, which reads "MOMMY AND ME ARE ONE." This text is a paraphrasing of a 1985 experiment on the effects of subliminal messages on the unconscious mind, where the phrase "Mommy and I are one" was allegedly effective at raising self-motivation.
Mario Kart DS

Attachment ROB is the first non-Mario character to appear in the Mario Kart series. In the Japanese release, he is red and white (like the Famicom), whilst in international releases he is dark grey (like the NES). His kart is similarly recolored.
South Park: The Stick of Truth

Attachment Several scenes, mostly involving abortions and anal probing, were censored in the European console releases. Instead of simply removing the scenes, these sections of the game are replaced by a picture of Michelangelo's David face-palming in front of a European flag, with descriptive text of what the scene would have entailed.

The scenes are also censored in the Australian release, and instead feature a picture of a crying koala.

The PC release, however, was only censored in Germany, Austria, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong & Taiwan, with all other regions, including the UK, receiving the uncensored version.

Attachment Fang the Sniper, called Nack the Weasel in the English release of Sonic Triple Trouble and various English-language comic books, originally wielded a realistic gun. However, this was considered too violent for the Sonic series, and was changed to a cork-shooting popgun during development of his debut game, Sonic Triple Trouble.
New Super Mario Bros.

Attachment A crash dump screen, used for debugging, still exists within the US retail copy of the game. It can be accessed by inputting a series of button combinations after crashing the game. It displays build information, the reason for the crash, and a stack dump.
Halo: Combat Evolved

After beating the game on the Legendary difficulty, a special cutscene plays. Spoiler:Sergeant Johnson is seen grappling for an assault rifle with a Covenant Elite. When the Pillar of Autumn's self-destruct sequence is activated, Johnson says to the Elite "This is it baby. Hold me." The two then hug while the Halo ring explodes.

An updated version of the cutscene is also present in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.
Resident Evil

Attachment Jill's first encounter with a zombie is when she finds one eating Kenneth Sullivan's corpse, near the beginning of the game. However, the scene will play out differently if the player returns to the lobby before encountering the zombie. The first time they leave the dining room, Wesker will tell Jill to go back. The second time, Barry will stop Jill from leaving, and then the zombie will burst into the room. If the player then visits the room with Kenneth's body, his legs will also be missing. This alternate scene is present in the director's cut but not in the 2002 remake.
Super Mario 64

Several of Mario's voiced lines didn't exist in the original Japanese version of the game, and were added for western releases:

• "Hello" and "Press Start to Play" during the demo screen with Mario's head.
• "Okey-dokey!" when choosing a save file.
• "Let's-a go!" when choosing a star.
• "Game over." when Mario runs out of lives.
• His dreams about pasta are missing.
• "I'm-a tired." - when the player is idle.
• "So long-a Bowser!" - when Mario throws Bowser a long distance.
• "D'oh!" - when long-jumping, sliding, or diving into a wall.
• "Boing!" - when bouncing off of a Spindrift's head.
• Mario will say either "Yahoo!", "Wha-ha!", or "Yippee!" during the last jump in a triple jump. In the Japanese game, he says "Yahoo!" every time for the third jump.
• In the opening sequence, Mario says "Yahoo! Ha ha!" when he leaps out of the pipe instead of just "Yahoo!" in the Japanese version.

Attachment In the Japanese version of the game, leaving the intro to play twice will show BlackWarGreymon in the introduction. He does not show up in the actual game, however.

The western release of the game is based on the Japanese re-release, Bravely Default: For The Sequel. Differences between the original Japanese release and For The Sequel include updated graphics, new story elements, and numerous mechanical tweaks.

Attachment In Victory Road, there is a one-way ledge on B1F. However, in the Spanish, Italian, French and German releases the top tile of the ledge was removed to allow access either way, and in Emerald, the entire ledge was removed.
Mario Kart 64

Attachment Thwomp's laugh is actually Wario's laugh slowed down. Since Wario's original voice from the Japanese release was changed in the Western version to sound more fitting, Thwomp's voice was also affected.
Plants vs. Zombies

The lawn string text codes in the PC version of the game contain names of three enemies that are never seen in the game: Dog Zombies, Walking Dog Zombies, and Propeller Zombies. The reason why they're not in the game is currently unknown.
Twisted Metal: Black

The European release of the game suffered from numerous cuts to censor objectionable content, including the removal of all cutscenes (except a heavily edited cutscene of the selected vehicle entering and leaving Minion's Stadium, and a shot of the vehicle driving down a street in the ending cutscene). Other cuts included the removal of the Boeing 747, drivers running from their wreckage while on fire, the loading screen text pieces and in-game info of the drivers. However, short clips of the cutscenes were shown during the credits, as well as a gameplay clip showing the 747 being shot down.
Twisted Metal

Several cuts were made to the game in the European release. Cutscenes involving Sweet Tooth were the only ones to include censorship, with a total of 124 seconds of footage being removed. With regards to gameplay, Meat Wagon and Shadow's special weapons had their live hostages replaced by corpses.
